Songwriters/Storytellers Series: Superior Siren (Live stream)

June 6 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Duluth singer/songwriter Laura Sellner of Superior Siren will perform songs from her new EP “Kill Your Darlings,” talk about her songwriting process and share stories about life as a musician during the first installment of the Sacred Heart Music Center Songwriters/Storytellers Series. Minnesota arts advocate Karen Sunderman will host.

Superior Siren is an eerie folk project inspired by Lake Superior and Siren mythology. Superior Siren is led by singer-songwriter and guitarist Laura Sellner. In 2016 Sellner joined forces with cellist Rachel Gobin, bassist Nyssa Krause, and drummer Emma Deaner to create an alluring blend of vocals, strings, and percussion. The collective released the first full-length album in 2018, followed by a tour of the Midwestern United States. On May 7th, 2021 Superior Siren released a solo EP of original material spotlighting Laura Sellner’s poignant songwriting.

This live stream production will begin at 7pm Sunday, June 6 on the Sacred Heart Youtube channel

The Songwriters/Storytellers Series is made possible by a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board
