The Friends of the Felgemaker’s first organ concert of the 2023-24 season will feature newly appointed resident organist Dr. Charles Sundquist along with the Twin Ports Brass Ensemble in “An Organ and Brass Spectacular.” The concert will be held on Sunday, September 10 at 3:00 pm at Sacred Heart Music Center.

This will be a celebratory concert exploring the powerful music written for organ and brass. The Twin Ports Brass Ensemble includes some of the region’s finest brass players: Steve Siegel, trumpet; Charlie Leibfried, trumpet; Deborah Rausch, horn; Derek Bromme, trombone/tuba; and David Leslie, bass trombone/trombone.

The repertoire includes music by Gigout, Strauss, Stamm, Sharpe and Dvorak.
