Duluth Does Elton John
More than two dozen Twin Ports musicians will perform the music of British superstar Elton John during an unforgettable night highlighting some of the singer, songwriter and piano player’s greatest work.
The one-night-only “Duluth Does Elton John” concert is part of an ongoing “Duluth Does” tribute concert series staged at Sacred Heart Music Center twice a year.
Performers will include Misisipi Mike, Breanne Marie, George Ellsworth, Born Too Late, Darin Bergsven and many more.
Each Northland artist will select one song from the Elton John catalog to perform for the tribute concert. The set list includes all the fantastic hits, a few deep cuts and lots of crocodile rock.
Both Sacred Heart stage pianos will tuned and ready to go for this one!
All proceeds from the “Duluth Does” concert goes to support future Sacred Heart Music Center programming and maintenance of its historic 19th Century former church building.
E-tickets will be available for $15 at Eventbrite.com HERE beginning at 10 am Friday, Dec. 15. Paper tickets will be available at Globe News in Superior and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 while supply lasts. Doors at 6 pm. Music at 7.
