Songwriters/Storytellers Series: Teague Alexy

The artist our Songwriters/Storytellers Series was made for: Teague Alexy.
Duluth singer and songwriter Teague Alexy will perform work from his vast songbook and tell stories from his long and legendary career in music in our next installment of “Live From The Heart: Songwriters and Storytellers Series.”
Paul Lundgren, of Duluth culture website Perfect Duluth Day, will host.
This on-line only event begins at 7:30 pm Thursday, April 28th on the Sacred Heart YouTube channel.
Teague’s songwriting is clearly influenced by his home in Minnesota as well as his childhood in New Jersey and life as a travelling musical hobo. Teague’s storytelling side has deeper roots to his Irish ancestry. The name ‘Teague’ was once used to describe the storytelling poets who travelled ancient Ireland. A limited number of free studio audience tickets are available at Eventbrite.com.
NOTICE: Studio audience members must arrive no later than 6:45pm at the building’s east entrance. Sacred Heart requires masking and proof of vaccination or 72-hour negative COVID-19 test to gain entry.
The Sacred Heart Music Center “Live from the Heart: Songwriters/Storytellers Series” is funded in part by a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
