DESCRIPTION:More than two dozen Twin Ports musicians will pay tribute to rock icon Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders performing some of the band’s biggest hits at 7 pm Saturday\, January 24. \nThis one-night-only concert is part of an ongoing tribute series staged at Sacred Heart Music Center twice a year. \n95 KQDS radio personality Chris Allen will host. \nEach Northland artist will perform a song from The Pretenders catalog\, which includes rock classics like “Brass in the Pocket\,” “Middle of the Road\,” and “Don’t Get Me Wrong.” Hey-Ho\, don’t miss this show! \nAll proceeds from this Duluth Does concert goes to support Sacred Heart Music Center programming and maintenance of its historic property. \nAdvance e-tickets will go on sale for $15 (plus $2.85 in fees) at 10 a.m. Friday\, Dec. 5 on Eventbrite HERE. Paper tickets will be available at Globe News in Superior (cash only) and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth (plus $1 handling fee). Tickets will be available at the door for $20 while supply lasts. Doors at 6 pm. Music at 7.
