DESCRIPTION:Duluth-based Willowgreen returns to the beautiful Sacred Heart Music Center to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a concert at 2 pm Sunday\, March 16. The fourth annual event will also mark the release of the group’s new album Sheila’s Brush. \nWillowgreen performs traditional\, contemporary and original music from Ireland\, Newfoundland\, Scotland\, Canada\, U.S.A. and the rest of the Celtic world. Sheila’s Brush is the first full-length album released by the group in more than 20 years. \nAdvance E-Tickets will be available beginning at 10 a.m. Friday\, Feb. 7 for $20 (plus $3.18 handling fee) HERE. Advance paper tickets will be available at Globe News in Superior (cash only) and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth (plus $1 handling fee). Tickets will be available at the door for $25 while they last. Doors at 1 pm. Music at 2 pm.

DESCRIPTION:Join the Friends of the Felgemaker in paying tribute to Johann Sebastian Bach on his 340th birthday and Rev. Dr. David Tryggestad on his 75th birthday on Friday\, March 21 at 7 p.m. at Sacred Heart Music Center. \nThis birthday concert will feature musicians Velda Graham Bell\, Rosemary Guiney\, Thomas Hamilton\, Brian Kapp\, Tasha Kapp\, Rachael Kresha\, Karen Hanson Sande\, Charles Sundquist and David Tryggestad. \nCome hear the masterful music of J.S. Bach and friends played on the beautiful\, historic Felgemaker pipe organ at Sacred Heart Music Center! \nA reception follows with birthday cake! \nAdmission is FREE but donations are gratefully accepted. All donations will support the Felgemaker Organ Fund which is used to maintain the Felgemaker pipe organ. Parking is available on the street\, and in the parking lot diagonally across from the Sacred Heart Music Center building.
