DESCRIPTION:Folk\, rock\, and blues\, melodic sensibility\, and honest emotion… \n​Based in Minnesota\, but with roots in Tennessee\, Chastity Brown grew up surrounded by country and soul music. In the full gospel church of her childhood\, she played saxophone and drums and found her singing voice and a passion for music. \nHer first show was in Knoxville\, TN\, and then it was on to Minneapolis. Since then\, she’s been featured on NPR’s “Favorite Sessions\,” CMT\, American Songwriter\, the London Times\, Paste Magazine and others. Chastity has toured the U.S. and abroad\, appearing on the U.K.’s Later…with Jools Holland. \nChastity Brown has released seven studio albums. Her latest album – “Sing to the Walls” – was released in 2022. \nDuluth-based duo Water Cat will open. \nE-tickets are available for $20 (plus $3.18 in fees) beginning at 10 a.m. Friday\, Sept. 12 HERE. Paper tickets are available at Globe News in Superior (cash only) and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth (plus $1 in fees). Tickets will be available at the door while supply lasts for $25. Doors open at 6:30. Music at 7:30.
