DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season with Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter Katy Vernon and the Two Harbors Ukulele Group as they perform an evening of Christmas carols\, holiday jingles\, sing-a-longs and lots of jolly merriment. \nDon’t miss this one-time-only\, holiday spectacular on the beautiful Sacred Heart altar stage at 7 pm Saturday\, Dec. 9. \nOne of the Twin Cities most beloved folk artists\, Katy Vernon was born and raised in London\, UK but in the past dozen or so years has established herself as one of the busiest musicians in Minnesota.  \nShe has won the Eric Stokes songwriting award and was also a finalist in the New song contest at Kerrville Folk Festival. She has appeared at Festivals in the Midwest and UK\, such as the Ukulele Festival of Great Britain\, The Grand Northern Ukulele Festival\, Taste Of Minnesota\, Stars of the North\, Big Turn Fest\, and Hazelfest. \nFormed in 2010\, the Two Harbors Ukulele Group (or THUG) was founded by Al Anderson with the mission to serve the community by spreading the joy of music through education and live performances. \nTHUG features multiple musicians performing on a variety of instruments with one goal: Making the audience smile. \nGet your tickets now for the holiday event of the year and bring your ukes and voices! \nE-tickets will be available now for $15 HERE.
