DESCRIPTION:Organist Aaron David Miller accompanies the classic 1920 silent horror film “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari.” \nThe Friends of The Felgemaker invite you to experience what it was like to attend a silent movie! \nRenowned organist Aaron David Miller will accompany the silent film “The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” at 7 p.m. Friday\, Oct. 23 on the historic Felgemaker pipe organ housed at Sacred Heart Music Center. \n“The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari” is a groundbreaking German horror film which set standards for creative camera work and featured a dark and twisted style of storytelling. It is widely considered the first true horror story put to film. \nAaron David Miller is noted for his highly imaginative and creative style\, found in his performances\, improvisations and compositions. He has won numerous international awards for improvisation and has given concerts and accompanied silent films across the country. \n\nAdvance adult tickets are $20 (plus a $3.18 handling fee) and are available on Eventbrite HERE. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 while supply lasts. All students can pay $5 at the door. Doors at 6 pm. Show at 7.
