Peter Mayer & Sara Thomsen

Minnesota folk favorites Peter Mayer and Sara Thomsen will share the stage in this great double bill at Sacred Heart Music Center Saturday, April 2.

Peter Mayer has been singing and songwriting full-time for 25 years, performing in venues across the United States and beyond. He writes songs for a small planet, songs about life and the mysterious fact of our existence. He also writes about dress hats, pumpkins and pajamas and other important stuff. Peter has 11 albums to his credit and has sold over 100,000 of them to his legions of fans.

Northland singer-songwriter Sara Thomsen has released six solo albums including her latest “Song Like a Seed.” She is artist director and member of “Three Altos” and is the founder and artistic director of the Echos for Peace Choir. Her music has been compared to Joan Baez, Pete Seeger and Holly Near, filled with passion for love, life, nature and human rights.

Peter and Sara will perform solo sets and play together on a few choice songs as well in this one-night-only show.

NOTICE: All concert-goers must wear a mask, provide proof of vaccination or a recent negative COVID-19 test at the door prior to each show. Phone photos of vaccination cards will be accepted. Further precautions may be taken pending state and county health guidelines.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. E-tickets are available Dec. 20 HERE. Paper tickets will be available at Globe News in Superior and Zenith Bookstore in West Duluth.

 All tickets for the postponed Feb. 5 date will be honored at the April 2 show. Refund requests can be made through Eventbrite, by contacting info@sacredheartmusic.org or at the point of purchase.
